Cookbook and Christmas event

Our English teacher suggested us to present our country through our tradicional food. We decided that every person should make one meal. We made those meals at home,write recepies and took photos for each step. We made presentation of collected recepies and photos. Then we got the idea to make a Cookbook for all four countries participating in the project. As Christmas event was coming, we had another idea; that we could make those tradicional meals again, bring them to school and share with others. We prepared a lot tradicional food and put it on nicely decorated table in the school hall. After the students Christmas show, students and teachers could taste it. That was awsome and everyone enjoyed in that “Christmas activity“.

Survey

The second task in our project was to come up with questions for every subtopics in Expo Milan 2015. We split in four groups , and every group had to come up with four questions. Questions were about water and food,the topic we agreed on beforehand .

From our researches we found out some disturbing facts. The world has asymmetrically divided food and water from shortage in Africa to abundance in Europe. So we made a questionaire and post it for all the members of  the project to do it.

Italian students got the task to process the information and prepeare the overview of the results.

Logo for Expo 2015 Milan

Firstly, we made several logos. Logos were different, we made them out of food. Participants of our group made a wonderful poster. Then we choose some posts which were the best. After putting them on the web, we had to vote for the best one (or we could vote for several of them).

Finally, we choose one with most votes and put it on our Expo 2015 logo. We were enjoying in doing it because in the process of preparing we worked together; showing ideas, pushing each other to do posts they are best for and organizing ideas.

How we started with our project for Expo 2015 Milan

At the begining of this school year we decided to take part in the project for Expo 2015 Milan. The first step in our project was to introduce ourselves to others who took part in the project.

Each of us wrote short essay about themselves, just who are we, where do we come from, what we like to do on our free time like if we play any sport or do some other things to fill out our free time. After we all wrote it down, we gave it to our English teacher who posted it on the Twin Space of our project “Feeding the planet Energy for life“.

Since than we did more things for this project and we had a lot of fun doing it. We are really looking forward to new tasks for this project.
